About the Journal

Terraphytica: An International Journal of Plant Sciences, Soil Systems, and Plant Health is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Phytoterrica Universal Resources. The journal publishes high-quality research that advances knowledge in plant science and related agricultural disciplines, encompassing both fundamental and applied studies relevant to plant-based systems.

Terraphytica welcomes research on all plant species, including model and non-model organisms, and accepts interdisciplinary studies across the agricultural sciences, provided they contribute to the understanding, improvement, or management of plant production systems.

The journal covers a broad scope including plant physiology, molecular, cellular, and structural biology, biochemistry, systems biology, plant genetics and biotechnology, as well as soil science, soil chemistry, land suitability and land evaluation, plant–soil interactions, agronomy, environmental and stress physiology, and plant health. Studies on plant pathology, pest and disease biology, host–pathogen interactions, and plant protection strategies are also within the journal’s scope.

Terraphytica publishes original research articles, reviews, perspectives, opinion papers, and short communications, and encourages the application of modern approaches such as omics technologies, bioinformatics, computational biology, genetic engineering, and precision agriculture to address current challenges in plant science and agriculture.
