Screening for Plagiarism Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Phytoterrica are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin to ensure the originality and integrity of the scholarly content. The journal adheres to the following standards:

The similarity index must not exceed 20%, excluding references, direct quotations, and commonly used technical phrases.

Manuscripts exceeding this threshold or containing signs of plagiarism—including self-plagiarism—will be returned to the authors for revision or may be rejected outright.
